Roberto Reggi

A graduate in Engineering, over the years Reggi has combined his professional experience in the electrical sector with the commitment to public administration. In 1994, he began his career as a public administrator as councilor for the Social and Housing Policies for the Municipality of Piacenza. He was elected mayor of Piacenza in June 2002. 

In June 2005, he was appointed Vice-President of the Italian Forum for Urban Security and in October 2009 he became national Vice-President of ANCI (National Association of the Italian Municipalities), being responsible for Patrimony, Infrastructure and Urban Security. Since 2012, he has served as President of the “Casa di Iris” Foundation.

In 2014, at the beginning of the Renzi Government, he was appointed Undersecretary for the Ministry of Education, University and Research.

From 2014 to 2018 he was the Director of the Agenzia del Demanio (the State Property Administration Agency).
